ABOUT ME

I'M LISA - NATUROPATH, NUTRITIONIST, PARAMEDIC, VEGGIE GARDENER, MUSICIAN AND ALL ROUND HEALTH NERD!

My pathway to becoming a Naturopath, like many, was fueled by my own health challenges and desire to find answers. I was burnt out after years of shift work, my stress levels were through the roof, and it was starting to impact my mood, sleep and cycles.

My poor adrenals and thyroid were really struggling!

I knew I needed to do something but couldn't find the answers through conventional medicine. So in 2016, with the support of my own Naturopath I was able to support my adrenals and thyroid with herbs and targeted nutrition, which helped slowly bring everything into balance. I was finally sleeping again, my energy levels improved, and I didn't have crippling PMS and heavy periods anymore.

As a mum, business owner, paramedic and shift worker, I'm no stranger to the mum-juggle, mental-load and exhaustion that comes with being a woman and mother in an ever-changing world.

“WE WEAR SO MANY HATS IT’S EASY TO FORGET TO TAKE CARE OF THE ONE WHO TAKES CARE OF EVERYONE ELSE - OURSELVES”

And whilst I do sometimes fall back into old patterns, I know how to support my
body now so that life doesn't completely overwhelm me.

Having spent the majority of my life living and working in regional NSW, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and assisting rural communities - to educate and empower them to take control of their own health. And I’m a realist - I don’t expect the impossible from my clients. If I can’t eat all organic wholefoods and meditate everyday myself, I don’t expect all of my clients to either.

During my 18 years as a paramedic I have seen an increasing number of chronic health complaints affecting younger people in their 20's, 30's and 40's, leading to a reduced quality of life for so many from such a young age. While some of these are fueled by poor nutrition and lifestyle choices, numerous others are more complex and remain unresolved for years.

EXHAUSTION AND LOW MOODS THAT GET PASSED OFF AS DEPRESSION ...
PAINFUL PERIODS THAT LEAVE WOMEN BED RIDDEN FOR DAYS ...
IRRITABLE STOMACHS THAT MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO EAT THE FOODS YOU ENJOY ...

A lack of access to natural medicine options in regional areas was a barrier I experienced myself when trying to improve my own health, and I'm beyond grateful that I can now help bridge this gap.

Naturopathy is all about treating the individual as a whole. I look at the bigger picture to recognise your underlying issues, and provide personalised treatment options for long-term, sustainable results.
